Today, we are not used to waiting for anything anymore; if we need something then we look online and it’s shipped within minutes and we don’t even have to move from our homes. We are forgetting that the most important things in life were created and evolved over long periods of time. As an example, let’s think about mother nature's evolution cycles and imagine how minerals and crystals were formed over hundreds or even thousands of years. They are probably the oldest beings on our planet; imagine what they have been through in order to come out as beautiful and perfect or imperfect as we find them.
The purpose of creating this Surprise Egg is to create awareness about the importance of old traditions, disciplines, and techniques (such as gemstone carving art) which many times are becoming extinct. It is an offering to nature, to show how grateful and respectful we are for providing us with such unique materials and a reminder of family values and traditions that keeps us together, a reminder that most beautiful things in life take time in being conceived.
The sculpture is available for purchase and for the fastest delivery.
Technique: Filigree technique for the egg with surprise clock and functional carousel inside.
