Every Jack Storms sculpture begins at the core. Working entirely cold — with no heat at any stage — he cuts, grinds, polishes and laminates optical lead crystal and dichroic glass hundreds of times, guided throughout by the Fibonacci ratio, then encases the core in optical crystal and hand-sculpts the final form on his signature cold-working lathe. Each piece takes six to twenty-four weeks and is an original work of fine art.
